Our expertise is based on many years experience working with Architects and English Heritage on remedial work to Churches and Grade I and Grade II historic buildings.

We can provide specialist access equipment, in house scaffolding and experience personnel to carry out initial surveys. Our services include written reports together with photographs showing any defects found. Alternatively, we can provide detailed costing of work from quinquennial inspections or architects reports.

Our Services include the following:
  • Re-pointing of spire and tower masonry in lime based mortars.
  • Loose masonry taken down and rebuilt securely using stainless steel dowels, New masonry can be supplied and fitted.
  • Rainwater goods removed and refurbished with new supplied in either Cast Iron or aluminium.
  • Slates removed to examine condition of structural timber work.
  • Old decayed timber can be removed and replaced with new treated timber and non-ferrous fixings for longevity.
  • Leads valleys re-formed and re-built to correct falls to Lead Sheet Association specifications.
  • Complete re-roofing service in Lead, Westmoreland Slate, Rosemary Tile, Derbyshire and Yorkshire Stone Slate or Copper - all to the current best practice.
  • Access provided with re-guilding of clock faces and weather vanes in 23¾ carat Deep Gold leaf.
  • Pest Control measures by supply of bespoke powder coated stainless steel mesh guards to louvred openings and lucarnes. Anti-vandal guards supplied and fitted.
  • Annual maintenance of high level gutters - removal of leaves and debris to ensure free flow of rainwater.

Many projects and years of experience working with Architects and English heritage has given us the ability to source either new or second hand specialist materials required for remedial work of this kind. All projects are sensitively carried out to blend with the existing fabric.
